All employees of Garris Evans Lumber goal is to sell building materials to our customers, serve our customers in a manner which enhances further sales, and hopefully produces a profit for the company. As a truck driver you will be delivering materials on various types of trucks (tractor trailer, boom trucks, straight fork lift trucks, van, and flat-bed trucks). Delivering to the job sites and placing the materials where the customer wishes. Each truck has its specific specialty; for example, the boom truck is good for drywall and the van trucks are good for interior products. All jobs within operations require: hand unloading or loading, loading your trucks either with your hands or a forklift, using a forklift, assisting in yard related activities to help maintain an orderly yard and assist customers. As a truck driver, you will need a class C license for the small trucks and a class B or A license for the large trucks.
